This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a dynamic behavioral health environment, enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, and is passionate about supporting patients through meaningful recovery.Required Experience & CredentialsOne year of adult and adolescent inpatient psychiatric experience requiredActive Massachusetts RN license required at time of submissionBLS certification requiredResponsibilitiesProvide direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, and legal guardians.Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu grounded in trauma-informed care principles.Collaborate as an active member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.Contribute to individualized treatment plans by developing, implementing, and documenting goals and interventions.Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to support patient stabilization and recovery.Maintain professional boundaries while developing therapeutic relationships with patients.Demonstrate effective communication skills and thorough EMR documentation.Use de-escalation techniques and crisis management skills when necessary.Support a compassionate, non-judgmental, team-centered work culture.
