Manufacturing Maintenance Technician I
Max payrate is $32.00
Role Location: Tempe Milk Plant - Tempe, AZ 85282
Work Schedule: 4pm- 2am 4/10's, Sunday through Wednesday (Thursday, Friday Saturday off)
Is there possibility this assignment will be extended? Possibly
Is there a possibility this assignment will convert to full time? It's possible. Depends on candidate performance.
Major Activities Performed
" Conduct a thorough walkthrough and assessment of all equipment, in operation and shut down, and all ongoing preventive maintenance actions in progress.
" Perform routine mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment, as required.
" Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, as required.
" Conduct troubleshooting on all malfunctioning and/or out-of-service equipment.
" Provide mechanical assistance to various plant Operators in the troubleshooting and repair of equipment, as needed.
" Monitor and maintain plant systems and subsystems, as required, to operate various equipment.
" Be available to work shift to fulfill personnel slotting requirements, as directed.
Required Qualifications
3 years in a manufacturing/production environment within a related industry (Preference is for food manufacturing).
" Understanding of engineering theory and principles as related to plant operations
" Ability to read and understand technical manuals, plant drawings and schematics.
" Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Desired Qualifications
" Strong Mechanical and Electrical aptitude.
" General knowledge of plant equipment to include boiler operations, knowledge of fluid heat exchangers, part inventory and storage control, refridgeration cooling systems, types fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, air compressor operations, electrical distribution, electrical and electronic controls, welding operations.
" Knowledge and understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and requirements.
" Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook programs.
" Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles

- Technology the candidate must have knowledge of: Homogenizers, Blow Molds, Electrical Distribution (480V/60Uz/3 Phase), Welding experience a plus
" Ability to read and understand technical manuals, plant drawings and schematics.
" Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
