Salary: $90,000 - $128,500 per year

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Patient Financial Services AR Manager to oversee healthcare accounts receivable operations, insurance billing, collections, denials, and reimbursement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong hospital revenue cycle experience, proven team leadership skills, and knowledge of Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily insurance accounts receivable, billing, collections, and follow-up operations.
• Oversee claim resolution, denials management, appeals, and reimbursement activities.
• Monitor AR aging, productivity, collections, and key performance indicators.
• Identify trends affecting reimbursement and implement process improvements.
• Work with insurance payers and internal departments to resolve outstanding claims.
• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate team members to meet performance goals.
• Prepare reports and track revenue cycle performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare billing policies and procedures.
• Support and improve workflows using Epic HB and PB.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, patient accounting, insurance AR, or third-party reimbursement.
• At least 3 years of formal supervisory or management experience in healthcare revenue cycle.
• Strong experience with hospital billing, insurance claims, denials, appeals, collections, and payer follow-up.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
• Experience monitoring AR performance metrics and leading teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or qualifying equivalent experience.
• Hospital revenue cycle experience and Epic HB/PB experience are strongly preferred.
