About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Patient Financial Services AR Manager to oversee insurance accounts receivable, billing, collections, account follow-up, and reimbursement operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience improving AR performance, resolving denials, and ensuring payer compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and evaluate team members.
- Manage insurance AR across Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB).
- Monitor collections, denials, credit balances, and reimbursement performance.
- Analyze AR reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with payer regulations and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and physician practices to improve financial performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business.
- Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with 8 years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience, or a verified associate’s degree with 4 years of experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in patient accounting, third-party reimbursement, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
