We're hiring an experienced Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU for a full-time, permanent night-shift opportunity in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Compensation & Benefits

About the Neuro ICU
The Neuroscience ICU is a specialized 14-bed ICU, with 8 beds on one unit and 6 beds on another.
The unit provides specialized care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients with complex neurological conditions. Common cases include:
- Post-operative neurosurgical and neurointerventional patients
- Traumatic brain injury
- Spinal cord injuries
- Ischemic stroke
- Intracerebral and subarachnoid hemorrhage
- CNS tumors
- Status epilepticus
- Guillain-Barré Syndrome
- Myasthenia gravis
- Medical, surgical, and cardiac ICU overflow
The facility supports Hawaii’s first and only Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level I Trauma Center, and NAEC Level IV Epilepsy Center.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and manage clinical care for Neuro ICU patients.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes throughout the care process.
- Provide patient and family education and support.
- Assist with utilization management and discharge planning.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care.
- Provide care for complex neurological and critical-care patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN License or the ability to obtain the license within 6 months of hire.
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
- Minimum 12 months of ICU RN experience, preferably within the last 3 years
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
