Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
EMR: Athena
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
License: Active Colorado Pharmacist License required
Housing: Provided by facility at no cost
Candidate Pay Rate:
Weekly Gross: $3939.75/week
Pay Cycle: Weekly - Paid every Friday
Pay Breakdown:
- Weekly Stipend: 1267/week non taxable
- Weekly Taxable: 2672.75 per week on w2
- Hourly Taxable: 66.81 per hour on w2
Additional Pay:
- Overtime Rate: 1.5 X - OT Starts after 40 hours per week
- Holiday Rate: 1.5 X
- Call-Back Rate: 1.5 X
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee the safe, compliant, and effective operation of its retail pharmacy in a rural hospital setting. This leadership role involves prescription dispensing, regulatory compliance, inventory management, immunization services, reimbursement, medication safety, and coordination with healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications:
- PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Active Colorado Pharmacist License in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Immunization certification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail pharmacy practice and operations.
- Knowledge of reimbursement processes and inventory control.
- Familiarity with rural healthcare settings or a strong interest in rural pharmacy practice.
