This role is responsible for preparing and presenting bakery products, maintaining product quality, and providing excellent customer service. As part of the bakery team, you will help create a welcoming shopping experience while ensuring freshness and safety standards are met.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, operate, and maintain baking equipment, ovens, and slicing machines according to safety and quality standards.Assist with product storage, labeling, and inventory to maintain freshness and availability.Place and present products attractively in showcases to maximize sales.Maintain knowledge of bakery products and communicate product details effectively to customers.Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases.Follow company policies and procedures, adapting to changes in processes as needed.Complete basic production and inventory records when required.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Must be 18 years of age or older.Previous work experience in a bakery, food retail, or related environment preferred.Basic knowledge of baked goods and bakery equipment use.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.A passion for food, service, and creating positive customer experiences.
