Description of Services
The Senior OpenShift Architect is responsible for the end-to-end architecture, design, implementation, and governance of Red Hat OpenShift 4.x platforms across hybrid and multi-cloud ecosystems.
This role provides technical leadership, ensures enterprise-grade availability and performance, and drives modernization initiatives using cloud-native and containerization best practices. The architect collaborates with engineering, DevOps, cloud, cybersecurity, and application teams to deliver scalable and secure OpenShift solutions aligned with strategic business goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12 years of experience in AWS and Linux/DevOps roles
- Experience as a Principal Consultant on AWS ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS)
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift Virtualization on ROSA
- Strong experience in OpenShift/Kubernetes administration
- Expertise in OpenShift 4.x including:
- Operators
- Machine Sets
- Cluster Operators
- API Objects & CRDs
- 6 years architecting and administering Kubernetes/OpenShift environments (including AWS ROSA)
- Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, automation frameworks)
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ansible, PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD)
- Deep knowledge of:
- Distributed systems
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Ingress, Load Balancers)
- Container orchestration
- Enterprise security & compliance frameworks
- Experience with observability tools (Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic)
- AI integration knowledge (preferred/plus)
