Job Description:
- Provide screening, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and brief therapy for clients of all ages
- Facilitate patient care conferences and manage discharge planning
- Deliver care coordination, advocacy, and skill development
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records, case notes, and reports per legal and agency standards
- Ensure timely documentation and confidentiality in all records
- Follow state regulations, accreditation standards, and billing requirements
Coordination & Teamwork
- Collaborate with social service resources and multidisciplinary teams
- Assist in treatment planning, monitoring, and professional consultations
- Support staff training and integration of best practices
Administrative Duties
- Participate in quality management training and apply learned skills
- Complete billing tasks and required provider documentation on time
Education, License & Experience
- Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- Licensed or pursuing LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
- Valid Alaska driver’s license (or obtainable)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of discharge planning, crisis intervention, and legal/ethical practices
- Strong case management, assessment, and documentation skills
- Ability to analyze situations and write clear, professional reports
