Title: Contracts Administrator IV - State Medicaid
Duration: 06 months Contract
Location: Remote
Shift: Standard Business Hours
Position Summary
• Manage the lifecycle of state Medicaid contracts, ensuring accurate execution of pricing and contractual obligations.
• Support Market Access and Account Management teams with contract strategy, negotiations, and bid solicitations.
• Analyze financial and regulatory impact of contract terms including pricing, rebates, and government reporting.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Medicaid contracting in a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
State Medicaid Contracting
• Support negotiation, implementation, and lifecycle management of state Medicaid contracts.
• Serve as liaison for state Medicaid supplemental rebate agreements.
• Interpret complex contract language and assess impact on pricing metrics (Best Price, URA, AMP).
• Redline and manage contract changes based on evolving policies and regulations.
Financial Impact Analysis
• Support financial evaluations related to Medicaid contracts.
• Analyze discrepancies between expected and actual contract performance.
• Assist with segment-level impact analysis for Medicaid programs.
Compliance & Controls
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Government Pricing teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Market Access teams.
• Support Medicaid bid solicitations and contract execution strategies.
• Facilitate communication across stakeholders to ensure smooth contract operations.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• MBA required
Experience:
• 3 years of experience in state Medicaid contracting
• Experience with contract negotiation and redlining
• Experience supporting Medicaid bid solicitations and contract execution
Skills:
• Strong understanding of pricing, rebates, GTN, and government reporting
• Knowledge of government pricing metrics (Best Price, URA, AMP)
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Ability to validate datasets, assumptions, and financial models
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• High attention to detail and risk awareness
• Ability to operate in complex, regulated environments
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with GTN modeling and government pricing analytics
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
