What You’ll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for customer support calls and emails.
- Troubleshoot alarm and security systems remotely using software and manuals (e.g., alarm.com).
- Schedule and dispatch technicians to client homes for service, repair, or installations.
- Prioritize scheduling based on technician skills, customer needs, and geographic routing.
- Coordinate with sales representatives regarding appointments and service priority.
- Communicate effectively with team members and across branches via email and phone.
- Handle billing disputes and customer concerns as you gain experience.
- Maintain professionalism and calm demeanor when working with demanding clients.
- Experience: Previous experience in service coordination, dispatch, or technical support. Alarm/security system experience is a major plus but not required.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer skills and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Customer Service: Advanced customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Negotiating/Descalation: Strong communication and negotiation skills for managing scheduling conflicts.
- Schedule Coordination: Ability to multitask between calls, emails, and scheduling responsibilities, while consistently coordinating between sales and technician teams.
- Calm, patient, and confident personality.
- Problem-solver with strong judgment and flexibility.
- Team player, adaptable, and willing to assist with occasional Saturday coverage.
- Comfortable interacting with customers, technicians, and sales representatives in a professional manner.
