Project Coordinator - Manufacturing

🚨 Screening:

This is a manufacturing-based Project Coordinator role tied to physical production and industrial equipment. Candidates will need prior experience supporting projects in a plant or industrial environment to be considered.

Overview:

This Project Coordinator position supports the planning and execution of projects within a manufacturing environment. The work is tied to physical production and industrial equipment rather than office-only initiatives. You’ll partner with engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams to keep projects on track and aligned to schedules, materials, and deliverables.

What You’ll Do:

📅 Project Planning & Coordination:

• Support development of project plans, schedules, and resource needs connected to production timelines
  
  

🤝 Cross-Functional Alignment:

• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Quality to align on scope and deliverables
  
  

🗂 Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain schedules, project trackers, and status reports in project management and ERP/MRP systems
  
  

Communication & Issue Tracking:

• Share updates with stakeholders and escalate risks or issues impacting timeline or materials
  
  

Budget & Resource Support:

• Assist with tracking costs and supporting procurement of materials and services tied to projects
  
  

✅ Compliance & Quality Support:

• Support adherence to manufacturing, safety, and quality standards
  
  

What You Bring:

🏭 Manufacturing Environment Experience (Required):

• Prior experience supporting projects in a plant, shop floor, or industrial production environment
  
  

Project & System Exposure (Required):

• Proficiency using project tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet, plus exposure to ERP/MRP systems (SAP or similar)
  
  

Cross-Functional Communication:

• Experience working with technical and production-focused teams
  
  

Strong Organization & Follow-Up:

• Able to manage multiple timelines and details tied to real production schedules
  
  

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related (or equivalent experience)
• 2 years of project coordination in manufacturing / industrial settings (not office-only)
