Material Handler - 1st Shift

Nesco is seeking a Material Handler to support our client's manufacturing operations. This role is essential to keeping production running smoothly by ensuring accurate handling, staging, and movement of materials. What You'll Do

• Receive, verify, locate, stock, and transport materials used in the manufacturing process
• Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
• Issue and stage materials for manufacturing as required
• Inspect and review orders to ensure accuracy and quality
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
• Report faulty equipment, defective materials, or safety concerns promptly
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Keep the work area neat, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Support other warehouse and production needs as assigned
  
  

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• At least 6 months of manufacturing or warehouse experience (preferred)
• 1 year of certified forklift operation experience (required)
• Basic math and inventory counting skills
• Certificate in power truck equipment operation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, reach, climb, push, pull, and squat
• Dependability, flexibility, and strong attention to detail
• Customer-focused attitude and professionalism when responding to internal requests
