LOCATION: NDSCS – Wahpeton, North Dakota
TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time, non-benefited position

JOB SUMMARY: Teach lecture and/or lab courses in Building Construction Technology and/or Construction Management Technology Spring 2026 and/or during the 2026–2027 academic year.
Instructional teaching assignments may include:

Rough Carpentry / Exterior Finishes LabsInterior Finishes / Finish Carpentry Labs
Project Supervision
Commercial Print Reading
Commercial Finishes
Construction Scheduling
Adjunct faculty are expected to embrace the use of technology as it relates to teaching, demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of students, and work effectively in a team-centered environment.
Minimum Requirements
Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS
Two-year degree in Building Construction Technology or related area OR equivalent education and experience
Relevant work experience in the constructions field
Effective oral and written communication skills
Computer and technology literacy
Ability to function in a team environment
Flexibility to teach students of varying abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Associate in Applied Science in Building Construction Technology or related field
Industry experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Commercial construction experience
- Rough carpentry experience
- Concrete construction experience
- Construction layout experience
- Construction estimating and scheduling experience
- Construction management experience
- Teaching or training experience
Additional Information
PAY: Current adjunct pay rate (calculated per credit taught)
DATE AVAILABLE: January 2026 or August 2026
