North Central Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking an Administrative Assistant - Client Access in Minot, ND.

Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.

As an Administrative Assistant, you'll welcome callers and walk-ins and connect them to the right resource. You will provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, answering incoming calls, and accepting payments. In addition, you'll provide back-up coverage for our business office, which will involve working with insurance portals, collecting demographic information and completing proper documentation for client charts.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to respect, confidentiality, courtesy, and overall helpfulness.

To be considered for this position, you are required to have a high school diploma or GED and three years of experience performing a variety of complex office support, clerical, or secretarial work. Additional education with major coursework in office support or business may substitute for up to two years of the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.

This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new hire orientation.

Location
ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position will work on location at the North Central Behavioral Health Clinic in Minot.
