Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Grants, NM
Type: Contract | 12 Weeks
Shift: 5x8 Day Shift | Monday – Friday
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Physical Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Grants, NM.
Responsibilities
- Assess and interpret evaluation results to develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic exercises, functional training, and manual therapy techniques
- Instruct and assist patients with mobility training, ADLs, and use of assistive devices
- Provide treatments including modalities such as ultrasound, traction, and hydrotherapy
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and technicians
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and modify treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for discharge planning and continuity of care
- Develop home exercise programs and educate patients and caregivers
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with standards
- Ensure a safe and clean clinical environment and follow infection control protocols
- Contribute to interdisciplinary care conferences and team collaboration initiatives
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program required
- Active Physical Therapist license in New Mexico required or eligibility to obtain one
- Current BLS Certification required
- Previous clinical experience in hospital, outpatient, or rehabilitation settings preferred
- New graduates with strong clinical rotations encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills required
- Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
