Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Grants, NM
Type: Contract | 12 Weeks
Shift: 5x8 Day Shift | Monday – Friday
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Occupational Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Grants, NM.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities through observation and standardized assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional skills
- Recommend adaptive equipment and educate patients on proper use
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies for daily living and independence
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate patient care
- Maintain departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards
- Participate in professional development activities, educational programs, and workshops
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program required
- Completion of Level I & Level II supervised fieldwork required
- NBCOT certification required
- Active New Mexico Occupational Therapist License required
- Current BLS/CPR Certification required
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
- Knowledge of anatomy, psychology, and therapeutic techniques required
- Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
