I'm partnered with an Am Law 100 firm in Houston seeking an M&A Tax Attorney (Associate) to join the green energy practice.
If you want to be at the frontier of the largest and most complex renewable energy transactions, this is where you want to be.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting M&A transactions, tax equity financings, tax credit transfers, and other joint ventures
- Advise clients regarding qualification for federal green energy tax incentives, including PTCs and ITCs
- Analyze and interpret tax requirements under IRC Sections 45/45Y/48/48E
- Structure and document tax equity financings for wind, solar, battery storage and other green energy projects
- Advise on tax credit transfers and monetization strategies
Qualifications
- Admitted to state bar
- LL.M. in Tax (preferred)
- Renewable Energy M&A experience
- Familiarity with section 45/48
Salary : $200,000 - $450,000
