Senior Accountant
Position Overview
A growing Los Angeles-based Business Management firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team! This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations for a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth and entertainment clients, including those with touring operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and other client reporting.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Oversee accounts payable, expense allocations, and bill payment processes.
- Support tour accounting, including tour reporting, commission calculations, and expense tracking.
- Prepare budgets, payroll, and year-end reporting.
- Monitor cash activity, credit cards, and account balances.
- Assist with new client onboarding and maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with clients and their trusted advisors to support ongoing financial needs.
- Prepare supporting schedules for tax reporting and other financial deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members and assist with special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred.
- 2 years of accounting experience in public accounting, business management, family office, or a similar environment.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, or similar accounting software preferred.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
