Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will assist employees, supervisors, managers, and industrial hygienists to identify and reduce hazardous conditions affecting the safety and health of personnel.
- You will exercise authority to stop any operations that is immediately dangerous to life or health of a person and recommending alternatives for continuing the operation in a safe manner.
- You will evaluate occupational health reports containing exposure-monitoring data, to determine and recommend alternatives for controlling exposures above permissible limits.
- You will conduct mishap investigations, analyze causes, and developing recommendations for preventing similar occurrences.
