You will serve as a TOOL ROOM SPECIALIST in the INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION SUPPORT DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will conduct, implement, and identify specific requirements for internal programs consistent with the activities and mission of the Tool Control Program.
- You will maintain ongoing surveillance of implemented programs and take corrective actions needed to ensure tool program integrity.
- You will implement actions from the latest developments in Tool Control and industrial facility operations in order to ensure long-range developments in Tool Control objectives.
- You will provide guidance to Program Managers in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Tool Control Program to improve organizational effectiveness.
- You will develop and submit equipment acquisition documentation, plan and implement tooling transfers to field service sites, coordinate the disposition of excess or work, and submit documentation to the Defense Remarketing and Reutilization Office.
