Position Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the AIR VEHICLE TEST & EVALUATION DEPARTMENT of NAVTESTWINGLANT NWCF. This Announcement Covers 13 Vacancies, Considering the Following Disciplines: GENERAL ENGINEER (0801) PHYSICIST (1310) OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST (1515) COMPUTER SCIENTIST(1550)

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will serve as a technical expert in the area of Test and Evaluation for NAVAIRWARCENACDIV.
• You will review test plans, reports, and correspondence for projects within the branch to ensure application of systems engineering principles, efficient use of test resources, and completion of technical tasks in adherence to established policies.
• You will provide technical direction and guidance for the planning, designing, directing, coordinating, conducting, and reporting of all Test and Evaluation work assigned.
• You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
• You will give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters within the Test and Evaluation field.
• You will identify critical program test elements, translate engineering test requirements into test plans, conduct tests, provide engineering analysis of test data, and report test results.
• You will be responsible for the definition of functional requirements for future test facilities, equipment, and instrumentation systems.
• You will be responsible for recruiting, development, performance management of between 10-15 subordinates.
