What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aftermarket Parts Clerk position at NATURAL GAS FUEL SYSTEMS LLC?
Deliver exceptional customer service, by promoting products, properly keying of customer orders in Cummins Clean Fuel Technologies order entry system and ensuring timely delivery of parts and accessories. Assist with accounts receivable functions as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
• Responsible for providing service for walk-in, phone, internet and email customers.
• Ensure all parts orders are entered in CCFT's system in a timely manner, creating jobs for fabricated parts when needed.
• Ensure all sales are properly documented per Cummins Clean Fuel Technologies policies to include but not limited to signatures, information on checks and credit card slips.
• Ensure all customers receive a copy of the finalized invoice and payment receipt.
• Assist accounts receivable with collection of funds for parts sales.
• Create credit for returned parts following the CCFT returned goods procedure.
• Complete all assigned training programs on-time.
• Participate in company and vendor training session on new products and product updates.
• Maintain safe operational practices by adhering to CCFT procedures and policies.
• Maintain professional appearance and communicate professionally with customers.
• Must demonstrate positive corporate citizenship.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strive for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments.
Education and/or Experience:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Compensation:
• Hourly base pay plus commission
