Position Objective/Summary:
The Aftermarket Regional Sales Manager (ARSM) will be responsible for assisting dealers grow and better manage their parts businesses. ARSM will be responsible to grow their business by implementing and managing CSS (Customer Sales & Service) programs including PM’s, inspection programs, marketing and retail promotional programs. They are also responsible for achieving CLARK’s parts business objectives in their assigned territories. In helping the dealerships achieve their business results, the ARSM will help dealers manage inventories, inventory turns, and promotional programs. Will also assist dealers in training their parts personnel, assist in setting and tracking specific parts department performance criteria. This position will be the primary contact and liaison for CLARK and the respective parts and service departments at the dealerships.
To accomplish the above essential functions, The ARSM must be knowledgeable in inventory management, dealer operating systems; aftermarket parts business, parts personnel management and incentivizing, wholesale and retail sales strategies and marketing communications.

Essential Functions:
- Increase aftermarket parts sales in your assigned territory.
- Responsible to train new dealership personnel on Aftermarket sales.
- Create a relationship between the dealership personnel, understand & manage the needs of customers, while maintaining the best interest of CLARK.
- Deliver and maintain Aftermarket Sales programs to the dealerships and customers.
- Resolve issues encountered by dealership personnel.
- Resolve OS&D, & Parts warranty issues within limits of authority.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Suppliers and Customers
- Position requires extensive travel and meeting monthly sales objectives
- Attend Sales Meetings in Lexington as required
- Provide various reports including parts sales, dealership goals & performance as required.
- Minimum of five (5) year’s experience in aftermarket parts business with an OEM or Dealership in a material handling or automotive industry.
- BA or BS in Business, Marketing or Economic or equivalent experience is preferred
- Must have product knowledge of CLARK and competitor aftermarket parts and general sales and market knowledge of the forklift and material handling industry.
- Must be able to establish and maintain dealer account confidence.
- Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft office programs.
- Must be able to create and deliver presentations
- Must have excellent communication & presentation skills both orally and written with all levels of personnel within the organization and dealerships.
- Self-starter, dependable, self motivated, & able to be successful with little supervision
- Organizational, planning and prioritizing skills required.
- Professional demeanor who uses good judgement and is a great representative of the Company & brand.
- Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the U.S. without sponsorship.
