CK Power is looking for an Aftermarket Parts Business Development Associate. The Business Development Associate serves as the customer-facing contact for the Aftermarket Parts business. You will develop and implement strategies to drive incremental growth in sales revenue. You will also provide extensive customer service through relationships and regular communication.
What You’ll Do:
- Proactively conduct Direct Sales calls to customers.
- Participate in developing an annual Aftermarket Parts business plan in alignment with the General Parts Manager and Division President.
- Proactively execute business strategies to achieve the business plan objectives in conjunction with the department’s annual budget.
- Ensure customer needs are met in a professional and timely manner through responsive and timely follow-up from incoming inquiries, website traffic, and advertising and marketing efforts.
- Correspond with internal and external partners to ensure all orders, shipments, and billing are handled properly and efficiently. You’ll follow the process “from cradle to grave.”
- Identify new opportunities by monitoring industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market research.
- Strengthening current and new vendor relationships through clear and consistent communication, building trust, and collaborating on opportunities.
What You’ll Need:
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically as needed. (up to 50% of the time)
- Aftermarket parts sales, as well as industrial engine and power generation product knowledge are essential.
- Sales and business development experience working directly with vendors and customers.
- Ability to develop a thorough understanding of the products and divisional business goals.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating and selling. Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work requirements.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Result-driven, positive attitude.
- Motivation and ability to accomplish agreed upon goals with limited supervision.
- Strong ethical conduct and a high degree of confidentiality.
