NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55 ) with the National Park Service (NPS). These experienced professionals provide administrative expertise, facilities management, natural and cultural resource planning, and a broad array of other professional skills that support the National Park Service through the Experienced Services Program (ESP).
Positions listed here do not guarantee employment for any definite period. Enrollment in the Experienced Worker Programs administered by NEW Solutions is temporary. The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee is an ?at-will? relationship. This means that an Enrollee is free to terminate enrollment at any time during the enrollment period, and NEW Solutions and the Agency have the right to terminate the relationship with the Enrollee.
PLEASE NOTE: An ?Enrollee? is not a federal employee, nor an employee of NEW Solutions. An ?Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions.

Qualifications
BA/BS Degree in Education, Instructional Systems Design with minimum additional experience of 5 year(s) in Instructional Systems Design
Work with Stephen T. Mather Training Center employees to develop curriculum, course design, and other instructional design elements on multiple topics for employees throughout the National Park Service.

Qualifications
BA/BS Degree in Education, Instructional Systems Design with minimum additional experience of 5 year(s) in Instructional Systems Design
- Instructional Systems Design, virtual (synchronous and asynchronous) training and blended learning. Ability to work independently and in virtual (and face-to-face, if required/possible) team environments. Present oral and written materials reporting the formulation of concepts, proposals, and recommendations for course design. Ability to maintain high levels of creativity, visualization, and quality.
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Teams, MS SharePoint
- Experience with Articulate Rise and Storyline
Work with Stephen T. Mather Training Center employees to develop curriculum, course design, and other instructional design elements on multiple topics for employees throughout the National Park Service.
- Develop and manage a project plan for curriculum development ? schedule, budget, tracking progress, reporting, troubleshooting, etc. Work with NPS SMEs to create and develop learning opportunities and training content ? can be in-person, online (interactive virtual and internet-based formats), or blended depending on program?s needs. 40%
- Interpret regulations, laws, policies, and best practices to determine what is most important to practitioners and how best to convey their significance. Use case studies and real examples as training content. Convert raw subject matter into effective learning activities. 40%
- Conduct evaluations of course content, design, and delivery methods and make changes as necessary. 20%
- Travel Requirements: One to three trips may be required.
- Overnight travel: One to three trips may be required.
- Air travel anticipated: One to three trips may be required. Depending on location of enrollee, travel could be by air.
