Job Location and Schedule Details:Location: Candidate can be located in Pensacola, FL, Winchester, VA, or Vienna, VAShift: 8:00am - 4:30pm (local time)Campus Reporting Type: Hybrid with the expectation to report onsite a minimum of 3 days per weekOvertime: OT is not approved for this contract positionContract Length: 6 months from start dateBasic Purpose:To plan and manage instructional design projects and initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organization. Develop instructional courses tailored to meet the desired learning outcomes and needs of our client and the learners. Collaborate to implement strategies for educating and training employees to achieve higher levels of performance. Utilize a variety of techniques to define and sequence instructional content and strategies. Create curricula by quickly and efficiently learning/processing large volumes of information and by conducting research on subject matter. Remain supportive of business unit/organizational training needs and refresh the training and materials as needed throughout its lifecycle. Work under minimal supervision.Responsibilities:Advise and assist trainers on course evaluation results – AdvancedCollaborate with others to plan and design courses and curricula; ensure accuracy of content and test multimedia elements – Assist in leadingConduct needs assessment on request from business unit management to provide customized training or individual guidance to improve and develop performance – Advanced analysisCreate and edit new LMS learning activities; set up required training assignments in LMS; create custom LMS reportsCreate dynamic instructional and training materials using current technologies including references and support tools that reinforce training, increase efficiency and help produce error free work – AdvancedDevelop and test course content, training games, graphic designs and other technology driven products – AdvancedDevelop classroom, on-line and/or independent learning program content that transfers knowledge effectively and brings about desired behavior change – AdvancedDevelop instructional strategies and courses for a business unit and/or cross-company products and skills – AdvancedEvaluate the effectiveness of courses, learning products and delivery methods to ensure that the desired learning objectives and goals are achieved – AdvancedInvolved in instructional design project teams with multiple deliverables, significant risk and complexity – Assist in leadingSelect most effective instructional approach including a blend of instructor-led and/or self directed techniques – AdvancedSelect, modify, or establish a design and development model appropriate for a given project; analyze learning needs to assist in establishing learning objectives – AdvancedTrain internal team members on effective use of classroom materials including ILT and VILT and environmentsValidate and integrate feedback, assessments and course evaluations into current and new training course content and/or delivery vehicle – AdvancedConduct presentations for various groups including executive leadership – AdvancedPerform other duties as assignedQualifications – All required unless otherwise noted:Bachelor's Degree in Education, business, communication, behavioral sciences, training development or related field or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceAbility to adapt to fluctuating work-flowAbility to compile, organize and present information clearly and conciselyExperience in evaluating the effectiveness of courses and learning products and delivery methodsExperience in researching/writing course content and/or developing courses, demonstrations, graphic designs and other technology driven productsAdvanced knowledge of instructional theories, educational psychology, educational theory, tools and resourcesWorking knowledge of instructional design to develop courses for products, processes and/or skillsAdvanced skill to successfully influence, lead and/or guide others towards goalsEffective database and presentation software skillsEffective organizational, planning and time management skillsEffective research, analytical, and problem solving skillsEffective skill capturing and translating processes and requirements into easily understood termsEffective skill collaborating with various external and internal technical and/or functional contactsEffective skill communicating with all levels within an organizationEffective skill in assessing organizational training needs and researching topics for course developmentEffective skill in building strategic and execution-focused plans and alliances with partner leadershipEffective skill interacting tactfully and effectively in difficult situationsEffective verbal and written communication skillsEffective word processing and spreadsheet software skillsDesired – Experience in multi-media trainingCC Pace is an equal opportunity employer. Salary : $65,200 - $88,300
