Hybrid - One year contractMainframe Application Tester – Banking SystemsWe are seeking a Mainframe Application Tester to support a large, complex banking environment with multiple legacy mainframe platforms. This role is responsible for validating mission-critical applications that support core banking, payments, lending, and regulatory processing.ResponsibilitiesDesign, execute, and document functional, regression, and end-to-end test cases for mainframe applicationsTest batch and online transactions across COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL-based systemsValidate data integrity, file processing, and downstream system impactsPartner with developers, business analysts, and operations teams to triage defects and ensure timely resolutionSupport UAT cycles, release validation, and production defect analysis in a regulated banking environmentRequired SkillsHands-on testing experience in large-scale mainframe environmentsStrong knowledge of COBOL applications, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and batch processingExperience testing high-volume financial transactions and legacy banking systemsFamiliarity with SDLC, change management, and audit-controlled environmentsPreferredBanking or financial services domain experienceExposure to tools such as File-Aid, Abend-Aid, SPUFI, or equivalentExperience supporting modernization or mainframe-to-distributed integration initiativesCC Pace is an equal opportunity employer.
