Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team. This role is ideal for a provider who values flexibility and is passionate about supporting individuals in an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP).
Position Requirements:
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Alaska
Current DEA licensure required
Supervisor:
Medical Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient enrollments for the Opioid Treatment Program
- Conduct intake assessments and physical examinations for patients.
- Confirm addiction diagnosis and certify medical eligibility for program admission.
- Perform ongoing assessments of patient health needs, including completion of inpatient treatment clearance forms.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and program requirements
- Review and monitor patient information in the Alaska Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP).
- Authorize the release of personal information for a State of Alaska criminal background check.
- APRN must be cleared and deemed eligible for hire by the State of Alaska, Division of Behavioral Health.
