Material Associate – Healthcare Supply Chain (Contract)
Location: Concord, NC
Contract Duration: 18 Weeks
Start Date: 08/03/2026
End Date: 12/05/2026
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Rotating Weekends & Holidays
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Shift Timing: Variable – Approximately 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (11:00 AM–7:00 PM listed as shift)
Job Summary
we are seeking a Material Associate to support healthcare supply chain operations. The Material Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing medical supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, healthcare materials handling, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, and distribute supplies and materials.
- Process supply transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory movement through supply chain systems.
- Utilize computer systems and RF scanner technology for tracking and processing transactions.
- Verify documentation for receiving, issuing, and returning supplies.
- Prepare and deliver supplies to various hospital departments.
- Operate powered and non-powered equipment safely.
- Handle storage boxes, equipment, and medical supplies.
- Ensure supplies and equipment are stored securely and properly maintained.
- Identify damaged or non-functional equipment and report issues appropriately.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Follow department policies, hospital procedures, OSHA safety regulations, and workplace safety standards.
- Complete equipment inspection checklists when required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Healthcare supply chain, warehouse, logistics, or materials management experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently in patient care areas.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory processes.
- Ability to support multiple functions during assigned shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, stretching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to transport supplies and equipment safely.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and emotional stability under stressful conditions.
Salary : $20 - $23
