Desktop Support TechnicianPay Rate: $22.00/HR W2 (Increase to $25.00/hour upon hire)Hours: Full time, M-F, 8am-5pm Location: Charleroi, PA 15022Duration: Contract-to-Hire Description: Primary duties will include standard desktop/Laptop break/fix items Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support. Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications Management and installation of equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, and video conference) Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided Service Now tool. Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches.Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve. Excellent written, organizational, analytical, and verbal skillsDocuments, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups. Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
