Responsibilities
- Establish key account relationships with customers, solve problems, and maintain business growth.
- Solicit new business at all levels of distribution channel, including contractors, builders, appliance dealers, and kitchen and bath showrooms.
- Analyze, implement, and coordinate departmental budgets for expenses, customer development, and customer rebates and allowances.
- Forecast, implement, analyze, and attain unit and dollar forecast for regional performance. Identify opportunities and threats to maintain and improve on sales forecast.
- Attend and participate in national, regional, and local trade shows.
- Work with national account managers to coordinate national account sales efforts and mitigate issues within respective regions.
- Run, export, and analyze data from Domo to determine prioritization and allocation needs for the market.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in plumbing, heating, electrical, or builder trade sales
- Experience with two-step distribution and working with independent distributors and manufacturer’s representatives
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong financial acumen in analyzing top-line growth, gross profit expectations, and productivity leverage with fixed budget constraints
- Ability and willingness to travel
