A leading distribution company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Northwest Houston. This position will be responsible for the company’s accounts receivable, including invoicing and maintaining timely and accurate customer financial records. Location: Houston, TX (Northwest) - ONSITE
Position Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $25-30/hr
- Responsibilities:
- Post daily customer payments quickly and accurately.
- Generate and send invoices to customers, including tracking and following up on overdue invoices.
- Interact with our retail customers to research and resolve payment issues.
- Provide regular statements to customers, as needed.
- Must be able to defuse potentially negative situations in an appropriate and diplomatic manner, guiding towards a positive resolution.
- Provide leadership and guidance to office team cross-trained to assist with credit processing.
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience of full cycle Accounts Receivable experience
- Working experience in a high volume distribution (or similar) environment.
- Strong data entry skills
- Advanced MS Excel and ERP experience (MS Dynamics preferred)
- Ability to analyze payment histories and identify potential issues, and bring to resolution
