Key Responsibilities
Design & Branding
- Develop and implement design plans, including layouts, finishes, and color schemes
- Collaborate with leadership and marketing to ensure brand consistency across facilities
- Conduct site visits and space planning to enhance function and presentation
- Advise on interiors, exteriors, and landscaping to maintain a professional, welcoming environment
- Source, vet, and negotiate with vendors to ensure quality and cost savings
- Maintain a preferred vendor list and establish designer accounts with discounts
- Streamline purchasing processes, quotes, and approvals to improve efficiency
- Support facilities with equipment and supply procurement at best value
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Oversee contractors, painters, and maintenance staff on design projects
- Track and maintain inventory of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and materials
- 3 years of experience in interior design and procurement
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and purchasing tools
- Strong negotiation, project management, and vendor management skills
- Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Must be able to work from our Skokie, IL office
