Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN (LDRP Nurse) to provide high-quality care for women and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
- Perform triage assessments and Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)
- Assist as a second nurse during deliveries
- Manage overflow patients as needed
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and recovery
- Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy and childbirth
Unit Overview
- Fast-paced LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit
- Critical Access Hospital setting
- Strong teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
- Active RN State License (Required)
- Certifications required:
- BLS/BCLS
- NRP
- STABLE
- Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above)
- Must be labor-trained
Pay Package (36 Hours/Week)
For Local Candidates (Within 50 miles):
- $80.00 – $85.00 per hour
- $2,880 – $3,060 per week
For Travelers (50 miles):
- $84.00 – $89.00 per hour (Including non-taxable stipend)
- $3,024 – $3,204 per week
