JOB SUMMARY
Parking Attendants are responsible for daily setup/tear down of the resort parking lots and directing guests to appropriate parking spots that result in the most effective use of space.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily set up/tear down of parking lot according to the directions of the Parking Lot Manager
- Responsible for directing resort guests to appropriate parking spaces that result in the most effective use of space in all parking lots
- Keeping the parking lot and surrounding areas clean and trash-free
- Daily trash collection from all outdoor trash bins
- Providing excellent customer service as the guest’s first point of contact upon arriving at the resort
- Responsible for snow removal on pathways and stair cases leading to the lodge
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/ SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a professional manner
- Ability to observe and apply all applicable safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Using logic and reasoning to offer solutions to problems
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and perform snow removal as needed
Marginal Duties & Responsibilities
- Clarify expectations and seek additional training as needed
- Provide basic assistance to guests with car troubles
- Provide knowledgeable information about the resort to inquiring guests
- Use SNOWsat to check equipment in and out (e.g. snowcats, snowmobiles, and rangers)
- Report any suspicious mechanical issues or abnormal performance of equipment to the Vehicle Maintenance department via SNOWsat.
