Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of our kitchen. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, stays organized under pressure, and understands the importance of supporting the entire team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain a steady flow of clean items to support kitchen and service operations
- Keep dish area, kitchen floors, and workspaces clean and organized at all times
- Assist with trash removal, recycling, and general kitchen cleanliness
- Support kitchen team with basic prep or organizational tasks as needed
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Opening & Closing Duties:
- Set up dish area and ensure all equipment is clean and operational
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift
- Break down and thoroughly clean dish station at end of shift
- Ensure all items are properly stored and areas are ready for the next service
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required—we will train the right candidate
- Strong work ethic and reliability are a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Attention to cleanliness and organization
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
