About the Role
We’re looking for passionate, dependable, and hardworking team members to join our Café & Bakery team. This is a hands-on opportunity for individuals who enjoy specialty brews, great food, quality hospitality, and the craft of baking.
Currently looking to interview candidates for the following positions:
· Barista
· Artisan Bread Baker
· Pastry Baker
Whether you're a skilled barista or an experienced baker, we're looking for people who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, teas, and other café beverages
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
- Take orders, operate the point-of-sale system, and process customer payments accurately
- Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of breads, pastries, and other bakery products according to established recipes and standards
- Measure ingredients accurately and follow recipes and production specifications
- Maintain consistency, quality, appearance, and freshness of all products
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas, equipment, and customer spaces
- Monitor inventory and communicate ingredient or supply needs to management
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Work collaboratively with café, bakery, culinary, and customer service team members
Specific duties will vary by position.
Experience
· Previous experience in barista service and specialty coffee is required for the Barista position
· Candidates with professional baking experience, culinary training, or experience with artisan breads, naturally leavened doughs, laminated pastries, cakes, or other scratch baking are encouraged to apply
