Job Description:
MP Engineer has open positions for an Administrative/Accounting Assistant role to support our office located in NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and office management functions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Invoices Follow up with clients on Account Receivables Approve Vendors’ Invoices Collaborate with Company Project Managers of different disciplines. Internal Audit Assist in external Audits. Review benefit invoices for accuracy.
- Coordinate with Insurance Providers Obtain Insurance Certificates Respond to Clients’ requests for Information.
- Manage and provide accounting support.
- Responsible for daily office operations- maintain office supply inventory, support bookkeeping, maintain physical office files, oversee office maintenance etc.
- Responsible to assist in document control and updating for HRIS and assist with onboarding of new employees
- Assist the HR team with all routine administrative and operational tasks. Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
2-3 years experience in an accounting adjacent role and/or office coordinator role preferred.
Associates degree and above preferred or a combination of schooling and experience.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Quickbooks knowledge required Familiarity with routine office management Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary : $20 - $30
