Trade Compliance Manager

Movement Search & Delivery is partnered with a global automotive supplier to identify a Trade & Customs Compliance Manager to oversee trade compliance across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customs and trade activity across North America and supports compliant, cost-effective cross-border operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for U.S., Canadian, and Mexican customs and trade compliance
• Oversee HTS and ECCN classification programs and maintain data accuracy in ERP, trade compliance, and broker systems
• Govern global classification standards and policies
• Manage PGA reporting and regulatory declarations
• Lead Free Trade Agreement programs, including qualification and documentation
• Support duty leakage prevention, duty drawback, and valuation reconciliation
• Maintain supply chain security programs including CTPAT and ISF
• Support landed cost modeling and sourcing decisions
• Manage and audit customs brokers
• Oversee cross-border return processes
• Support customs rulings and regulatory inquiries
• Serve as system owner for US ACE, Canadian CARM, and CTPAT
• Coordinate monthly duty and tax payments and related accruals with Finance

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3–5 years of customs and trade compliance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• HTS classification and customs valuation experience
• Free Trade Agreement and special trade program experience
• Experience with U.S., Canadian, and Mexican customs programs
• Customs audit and broker management experience
• Licensed Customs Broker preferred
