Movement Search and Delivery is working with a US based organization that, for the past 50 years, has become an industry leader in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) in Spokane, Washington, to identify and evaluate a Test Engineering Manager
About the Role:
Provide leadership and direction for all day-to-day activities for the Test Engineering team (in the US, Mexico, Vietnam). In addition, provides engineering support to engineers in order to maximize the effectiveness of the functional engineering team and serve as an engineering project leader. Manages the functional team’s budget, distributes workload, establishes goals, and monitors employees’ performance.

- Develops goals for the team and for each individual within the team that reflect the goals of the company and the manufacturing engineering group.
- Supervises, provides leadership, assigns projects, and coordinates day-to-day activities for the functional engineering team.
- Develops and coordinates procedures that follow the new product introduction (NPI) process and ensures the transfer between sites is seamless and successful.
- Reviews all quotes for new production models and coordinates design reviews.
- Oversees the quotation, initiation, scheduling, and coordination of developmental activities for the functional manufacturing engineering team.
- Develops and manages functional team tactical and strategic plans for manufacturing technical roadmaps.
- Develops and maintains the functional team’s design for manufacturability rules and guidelines.
- Manages functional team in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. This includes staff forecasting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Engineering degree required (Associate’s/Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or similar preferred)
- U.S. citizen or Green card holder (not eligable for sponsorship)
- 10 years of manufacturing/testing engineering experience
- Multi-product testing experience
- Familiarity with national and international testing regulations
- Experience with automated testing software (LabVIEW preferred)
