A global manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting to join its corporate finance team. This highly visible role will lead external financial reporting, SEC filings, technical accounting initiatives, and corporate accounting activities while partnering closely with senior finance leadership.

Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other regulatory reporting requirements
- Coordinate disclosure controls and financial reporting processes across multiple stakeholders
- Partner with Investor Relations on earnings releases, presentations, and other external communications
- Research and resolve complex accounting and financial reporting matters
- Prepare technical accounting analyses and accounting position papers
- Support the implementation and adoption of new accounting standards
- Oversee selected corporate accounting and month-end close responsibilities
- Support SOX compliance, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives
- Drive enhancements to financial reporting systems, analytics, and reporting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Treasury, Tax, FP&A, HR, and Internal Audit
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Public accounting experience supporting SEC registrants strongly preferred
- Experience preparing or reviewing SEC filings
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience researching and documenting technical accounting matters
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems preferred
