Movement Search and Delivery is working with a leading heavy industrial manufacturer in Muskegon, Mi to identify and evaluate a Sales Account Manager.
About the Role:
- On-site role with a multibillion dollar global manufacturing company
- Room for growth, no direct reports but potential to grow a team in the future
- Looking for a relationship-driven sales professional to manage and grow key customer accounts at a flagship specialty metals manufacturing facility
- Some travel required for customer visits and industry events (approximately 15%)
What You Will Do:
- Lead day-to-day sales activities, maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with customers
- Drive sales bookings through direct customer contact and technical liaison
- Manage ongoing communication with customers regarding current, new, and upcoming orders, as well as additional opportunities
- Propose strategic sales initiatives based on customer demand and internal manufacturing capacity
- Represent the company at client visits, trade shows, and industry events to build relationships and expand business
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Need to Succeed:
- 4 year degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience, preferably in the alloy or aerospace industries
- Familiarity with specialty alloys and manufacturing process concepts preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of CRM, ERP, and MS Office software
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong presentation skills and business/financial acumen
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with personnel at all organizational levels
- Strong project and account management skills
