What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Controller position at Movement Search & Delivery?
We are conducting a confidential search for a Plant Controller with a client company of ours that is a global supplier to the aerospace, automotive, and automation industries. This is a direct-hire position and it is based around Campbellsburg, IN.
This Sr.-level position will partner with the leadership team in translating business strategy into action that drives business results for this key location.
-Responsible for accounting, financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, inventory management, forecasting, cost accounting, forecasting, and related analytical analysis.
-Responsible for the monthly financial closing process.
-Ensure that internal controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively.
-Responsible for fixed asset accounting, including capital project reviews, asset capitalization and the physical inventory of fixed assets.
-Accountable for inventory management, ensuring that the plant's inventory controls are adequate, reconciling inventory balances monthly, identifying overage and aging material issues, and coordinating periodic physical inventories.
-Responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and variance analysis on costing activities.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelors degree
* 3 experience as a Plant Controller, Plant Accounting Manager, and/or Sr. Accountant
* Manufacturing experience is required

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
