Movement Search and Delivery is working with Bay Crane, a leading provider of crane rental, specialized transportation, and heavy-lifting solutions, to identify Project Safety Professionals for multiple project locations.
About the Role:
This hands-on field role will support a defined local territory and work onsite at customer project locations. The Project Safety Professional will partner with project leadership and crews to promote safe execution of crane, rigging, heavy-haul, and construction activities while ensuring compliance with company, customer, and OSHA requirements. Some travel within the assigned territory is required.
What You Will Do:
Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and employee orientations.
Review job hazard analyses, lift plans, pre-task plans, permits, and other safety documentation.
Lead toolbox talks and reinforce safe work practices with field teams and subcontractors.
Identify and correct hazards involving cranes, rigging, fall protection, electrical exposure, material handling, and mobile equipment.
Support incident and near-miss investigations, corrective actions, reporting, and recordkeeping.
Travel within a defined local territory to support customer jobsites and coordinate with project management, customers, and site representatives.
What You Need to Succeed:
Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach course completion card from an OSHA-authorized trainer.
Previous construction, industrial, crane/rigging, heavy-lift, or field safety experience; 2 years is preferred.
Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and core jobsite hazards, including fall protection, electrical safety, struck-by/caught-between hazards, PPE, material handling, and cranes and derricks.
Ability to conduct inspections, document findings, deliver training, and respectfully stop or correct unsafe work.
First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred; CHST, STS-C, CSP, or related safety credential is a plus.
Strong communication, organization, and field presence, with the flexibility to work onsite at multiple customer locations and travel within an assigned territory as project schedules require.
