What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Movement Search & Delivery?
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly forecasts and review packages (bridges/causals).
- Provide financial validation and analysis for projects and change management initiatives.
- Perform cost accounting, cost center reviews, and variable cost analysis.
- Deliver accurate management reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) covering sales, inventory, scrap, and other KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and controls (e.g., Blackline).
- Support ad hoc projects and business initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent).
- Strong accounting and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO and MM), OneStream, and advanced Excel.
- Experience in financial modeling and cost accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive SAP FI/CO and MM expertise.
- Advanced OneStream skills.
- 8–10 years’ experience in a manufacturing controllership role.
- Knowledge of compliance/SOX requirements.
- Automotive manufacturing industry experience.
Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
