About the Role:
Movement Search and Delivery is working with a manufacturing company in Dillon, South Carolina to identify and evaluate a Financial Analyst. This role owns cost and budget reporting for the plant’s production and lab operations, using Oracle to manage department charges, analyze spending variances, and build cost projections that support a facility operating under government military contracts.
What You Will Do:
• Design reports, map accounts, and develop journal vouchers in Oracle, running various systems to assign department charges
• Analyze spending variances and flag areas of opportunity
• Develop activity and cost projections for production and lab centers
• Determine manpower, salary, and fringe expense projections by salary group
• Operate independently and effectively within a matrix organization
• Work holidays, weekends, and overtime as business needs require
What You Need to Succeed:
• B.S. in Business or Accounting plus two years of financial reporting and/or budgeting experience, or six years of equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting theory and application of financial principles
• Prior experience with Oracle and Syteline software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Demonstrated verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk throughout the workday, with close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus and operate multiple controls simultaneously; reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required due to government military contracts
