Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a compassionate and confident Surgical Veterinary Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take their technical skills to the next level. If you’re driven, focused, and eager to grow your surgical and anesthesia expertise—we want to meet you!
Ideal candidates will have:
2 years of veterinary experience (surgical/anesthesia experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure
A positive, collaborative attitude and strong communication skills
A commitment to patient safety and client education
Core Skills We’re Seeking
Safe and effective animal restraint
Collecting and processing lab samples (blood, urine, etc.)
Administering oral and injectable medications
Taking thorough medical and vaccine histories
Assisting with surgical preparation and post-op recovery
Following strict sterilization and cleanliness protocols
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians in surgical prep, induction, and recovery
Monitor patient vitals while under anesthesia and adjust as needed
Administer vaccines and treatments with accuracy and care
Calculate medication dosages and ensure correct delivery
Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records
Educate clients about post-op care, medications, and home instructions
Uphold surgical suite cleanliness and hospital biosecurity standards
