Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a hardworking, compassionate Veterinary Assistant who thrives in a dynamic clinical setting, learns quickly, and is excited to be a key part of patient care.
Ideal candidates have:
At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting (preferred but not required)
A positive attitude and a desire to grow in the veterinary field
Strong communication and organization skills
Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic
The ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and treatments
Help with daily care: walking dogs, cleaning cages, feeding, monitoring patients
Safely restrain patients for exams, blood draws, and treatments
Set up and take digital radiographs
Perform in-house diagnostics and prepare/send out lab work
Maintain clean, stocked treatment and exam areas
Understand and assist with commonly used medications
Prep surgery suites and ensure sanitation post-procedure
