As an Anesthesia Veterinary Assistant at MVA, you will play a key role in supporting our surgery department, helping our technicians and veterinarians provide rapid, high-quality care. In this position, you will:
- Assist nurses, anesthesia coordinators, and veterinarians with daily patient care
- Support the induction, intubation, and monitoring of anesthetized patients
- Aid in clipping, prepping, and positioning surgical patients
- Assist in placing IV catheters, running bloodwork, and performing diagnostics
- Clean, organize, stock, and maintain hospital equipment and inventory
- Provide compassionate and professional client service
- Accurately update patient records and communicate changes to the veterinary team
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, assisting across multiple departments
Anticipated Schedule
This is a full-time position with the following available schedules:
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Please note that some holidays are required.
- Starts at $19.00/hr
